SD-01 was a Droid. Search and Destroy Prototype 01 was designed to hunt and kill Jedi that went into hiding near the end of the Old Republic. All other Data available on the Model line and its subsequent lines is unavailable and no other Model has been seen in working order since their release.

Recent events on Dantooine have seen SD-01 go before the Jedi Grand Master to tell his tale. After much deliberation it was decided that SD-01 was indeed a living being with a sentient mind that could not be held responsible for his crimes under his programming. Now he has been rebuilt to his exact model specifications with modern enhancements, and renamed Revan by TiCira Hawk.

Revan now devotes his time and energy to the perfection of Lightsabre Combat, and what he calls "Battle Meditation" His own form of relaxation.
